Titãs

Titãs emerged in São Paulo in 1982, initially as Titãs do Iê-Iê. The first album, released in 1984, featured “Sonífera ilha”; two years later, Cabeça dinossauro marked a turn toward a heavier sound and put the band at the center of Brazilian rock.

The group went through lineup changes, with the departures of Arnaldo Antunes, Nando Reis and other members. In 2023, it brought part of the classic lineup back together for a 40th anniversary tour.
