Thelonious Monster

Thelonious Monster formed in Los Angeles in 1984, led by singer and songwriter Bob Forrest. The band released You’re Bummin’ My Life Out in a Supreme Fashion and Next Saturday Afternoon in the 1980s, before Stormy Weather, from 1989.

After the death of bassist Rob Graves and a period of inactivity, Forrest reassembled the lineup for Beautiful Mess, released in 1992. The group reunited again in 2004 and released California Clam Chowder; in 2020, it put out Oh That Monster.
