The Stone Roses formed in Manchester in 1983 and rose to prominence with their self-titled debut album, released in 1989, which includes “I Wanna Be Adored” and “Fools Gold”. Associated with the Madchester scene, the group released The Second Coming in 1994, after years of contract disputes. The band split in 1996, reunited in 2011 and ended its activities again after its last performance in 2017.
