The E Street Band

The E Street Band came out of the Asbury Park music scene in New Jersey and came together in 1972 to back Bruce Springsteen on his debut album, Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J. The band rose to prominence on records like Born to Run and Born in the U.S.A.

In 1989, Springsteen ended his regular collaboration with the group; ten years later, he brought the musicians back together for a series of shows and resumed touring with them.
