The Doobie Brothers

The Doobie Brothers formed in San Jose, California, in 1970, and rose to prominence with Toulouse Street and The Captain and Me, which featured tracks like “Listen to the Music” and “China Grove”.

With Michael McDonald on board, the band changed course on Takin’ It to the Streets and Minute by Minute, the album of “What a Fool Believes”. It ended its activities in 1982, returned in different lineups and reunited McDonald with the members in 2021.
