The Chrome Hearts

The Chrome Hearts emerged in 2024 as Neil Young’s backing band, bringing together Micah Nelson on guitar, Corey McCormick on bass, Anthony LoGerfo on drums and Spooner Oldham on keyboards. Nelson, McCormick and LoGerfo had played together in Promise of the Real, a group led by Lukas Nelson that also backed Young on records and tours.

In 2025, the lineup released Talkin to the Trees, credited to Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts.
