Testament

Testament formed in Berkeley, California, in 1983 under the name Legacy and adopted its new identity before releasing its debut album, The Legacy, in 1987. The New Order and Practice What You Preach established the band in the Bay Area thrash scene.

In the 1990s, albums such as Low accompanied changes in sound and lineup. After a stretch without studio releases, the band returned in 2008 with The Formation of Damnation and remained active.
