Tabernis

Tabernis is a medieval folk duo with an enigmatic identity, built around bagpipes and the davul, a double-headed drum. Ancient melodies, distorted whispers and the hum of bees hold up a dark universe tied to beekeeping, with the piper credited as Noxifer, the beekeeper.

Its debut album, Seasons of the Dark Hive, came out in 2026 on Napalm Records, with reworkings such as Walther von der Vogelweide’s “Palästinalied”, and appearances at Wacken, Summer Breeze and M’era Luna.
