Sting

Sting left The Police carrying reggae, punk and pop calculation in his luggage, but his solo career became something else: rainy-club jazz, English literature, family grief, polished eroticism and songs made to pass through airports and consciences. Across ...Nothing Like the Sun, The Soul Cages and Ten Summoner's Tales, he built a restless elegance, sometimes cold, almost always sharp.
