Seasick Steve

Born in Oakland, California, Steve Wold spent decades playing and working in different cities before releasing Dog House Music in 2006, already under the name Seasick Steve. An appearance on Jools Holland’s show raised his profile in the United Kingdom.

In 2008, I Started Out with Nothin’ and I Still Got Most of It Left reached the public with guest musicians such as Ruby Turner and Nick Cave; then came Man from Another Time and Sonic Soul Surfer.
