Samba do Barão

Samba do Barão began in Praça Barão de Drummond, in Vila Isabel, Rio de Janeiro. The samba circle formed through connections with neighborhood residents and a repertoire tied to local musical history, including works by Noel Rosa and Martinho da Vila. Over time, the project also became a cultural movement and brought samba-circle performances from the North Zone to venues such as Teatro Rival.
