Röyksopp

The Norwegian duo Röyksopp formed in 1998 in Bergen, out of the partnership between Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland, both from Tromsø. The debut album, Melody A.M. (2001), gained international recognition with tracks such as “Eple” and “Poor Leno”.

The Understanding, Junior and Senior followed. In 2014, The Inevitable End marked a farewell to the traditional album format, but the duo kept releasing music and returned with the Profound Mysteries series in 2022.
