Róisín Murphy

Born in Arklow, Ireland, Róisín Murphy rose to prominence as the singer of the duo Moloko, formed with Mark Brydon. The pair scored with “Sing It Back” and “The Time Is Now” before splitting after the album Statues.

Murphy began her solo career with Ruby Blue in 2005 and consolidated that phase with Overpowered, from 2007. After some years without releasing records, she returned with Hairless Toys and, later, Róisín Machine and Hit Parade.
