Robertinho do Recife

Born in Recife, Robertinho do Recife began playing guitar as a boy and was already performing as an instrumentalist at age 12. In the 1970s, he released albums such as Jardim da infância and Robertinho no passo, combining frevo, popular music, and guitar.

In 1984, Metal mania marked his foray into hard rock; later, he also worked as a producer and arranger for artists such as Elba Ramalho and Zé Ramalho. In 2014, he revived the Metal Mania project with Back for more.
