Rah Digga

Born in Newark, New Jersey, Rah Digga made her way in hip-hop as a member of the Outsidaz collective and, later, of Busta Rhymes’s Flipmode Squad. Her part on The Imperial, the group’s 1998 album, preceded her solo debut Dirty Harriet, from 2000, which featured “Tight”.

After a gap between records, she released Classic in 2010 and kept appearing on recordings and in performances. She has also worked as an actress and educator, keeping ties to the Newark scene.
