Orquestra Ouro Preto

Founded in Ouro Preto in 2000, Orquestra Ouro Preto became one of the most inventive ensembles in Brazil by bringing concert repertoire and popular music together. Under conductor Rodrigo Toffolo, its co-founder and artistic director, it has devoted programs to the Beatles, Alceu Valença and Luiz Gonzaga, among others.

With an experimental profile and a composer of its own, the Argentine Rufo Herrera, also a co-founder, it is the resident orchestra of Sesc Palladium in Belo Horizonte.
