Orquestra Maré do Amanhã

Orquestra Maré do Amanhã began in 2010 in Complexo da Maré, Rio de Janeiro, as a music education project for children and teenagers. Founded by conductor Carlos Eduardo Prazeres in memory of his father, Armando Prazeres, the initiative brings together young musicians and performs on stages in Brazil and abroad.

In 2023, members took part in the album and DVD Alcione 50 Anos, recorded live at the Theatro Municipal do Rio.
