Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark

Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark emerged in 1978 on the Wirral peninsula with Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys. The band reached the public with “Enola Gay”, from Organisation, and cemented its pop phase on Architecture & Morality. After Dazzle Ships, it took more accessible paths and released “If You Leave”. The group disbanded in 1996, returned in 2006 and released new albums, among them Bauhaus Staircase, in 2023.
