Nils Lofgren

Nils Lofgren was born in Chicago and grew up near Washington, where he formed the group Grin as a teenager. At 17, he met Neil Young and played piano on After the Gold Rush, before joining Crazy Horse. In 1975, he released his first solo album, Nils Lofgren. He also joined Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band and returned to recording with Crazy Horse from 2019 on.
