Nada Surf

Nada Surf emerged in New York in 1992 with Matthew Caws and Daniel Lorca. The single “Popular”, from the debut album High/Low, brought the group to the public in 1996. After a standoff with the label Elektra over The Proximity Effect, the band went independent. Let Go, from 2002, and The Weight Is a Gift, from 2005, marked that phase. In 2024, it released Moon Mirror.
