Morten Harket

Morten Harket is the voice of a-ha, able to go from a low whisper to the high falsetto of “Take On Me” without losing the melancholy tension. Born in Kongsberg, he joined Pål Waaktaar-Savoy and Magne Furuholmen in 1982 and became a face of the MTV era.

In his solo career, from Wild Seed to Brother, he explored a more intimate and reflective pop, also singing in Norwegian, while the trio moved between breaks and comebacks.
