Michael Weikath

Michael Weikath was born in Hamburg and, in 1984, helped form Helloween, a group central to establishing German power metal. A guitarist and songwriter, he played on the band’s first albums and wrote songs for Keeper of the Seven Keys Part II, among them “Eagle Fly Free”.

The lineup changed over the decades, but Weikath stayed in the group and was part of the reunion that brought Kai Hansen and Michael Kiske back in 2016.
