Madness

Madness emerged in Camden Town, London, in 1976, initially as The Invaders, and took a name inspired by a Prince Buster song. With the album One Step Beyond (1979), it helped bring ska to the British public; later, it broadened its sound on records like The Rise & Fall, which includes Our House.

The band ended its activities in 1986, reunited in 1992 and released Theatre of the Absurd Presents C'est La Vie in 2023.
