Life of Agony

Life of Agony formed in Brooklyn in 1989 and rose to prominence with River Runs Red, its debut album, released in 1993. Ugly, from 1995, kept the band in alternative metal, while Soul Searching Sun, from 1997, brought an approach closer to alternative rock. After Keith Caputo left, the group split up and reunited at different times; in 2017, it released A Place Where There's No More Pain.
