Kygo

Kygo is the stage name of Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, a producer from Bergen who helped define tropical house in the mid-2010s. He started by posting remixes online, and “Firestone” and “Stole the Show” took his soft piano, marimbas and laid-back beats to charts around the world.

He played the closing ceremony of the Rio Olympics in 2016 and reached rare streaming numbers with collaborations such as his reworking of “Higher Love”, with Whitney Houston.
