Kokoroko

Kokoroko formed in London in 2014, after trumpeter Sheila Maurice-Grey and percussionist Onome Edgeworth met on an artistic trip to Kenya. The band rose to prominence in 2018 with “Abusey Junction”, included on the compilation We Out Here, and released the EP Kokoroko in 2019. In 2022 came the first album, Could We Be More, followed by Tuff Times Never Last in 2025.
