Kenneth Bruce Gorelick was born in Seattle and started playing saxophone at a young age, before joining the jazz-funk band Cold, Bold & Together and working with Jeff Lorber Fusion. As a solo artist, he released Kenny G in 1982, but it was Duotones, from 1986, that made his name with “Songbird”.
Breathless, from 1992, widened his commercial reach. Since then, he has alternated instrumental records, Christmas repertoire and projects such as Brazilian Nights.
