John Farnham

John Farnham was born in Dagenham, England, and moved to Australia as a child, where he began his career as a teen idol under the name Johnny Farnham. After a stint fronting Little River Band, he returned to his solo career with Whispering Jack, from 1986.

The record, driven by “You’re the Voice”, became a landmark of Australian music. In the following years, he released albums such as Age of Reason and Chain Reaction.
