Jo Quail

Jo Quail is a London composer and cellist. As a solo artist, she combines the cello with layers built through looping and effects, an approach present since her debut album, From the Sea, released in 2010.

Over the years, she has released works such as The Pilbara and Exsolve, as well as the live recording Beyond the Past. On Notan, her seventh album, she revisited ideas from improvisations and developed them into her own compositions.
