Jeff Ament

Jeff Ament was born in Havre, Montana, and began his musical path in bands from the Seattle scene. He played bass in Green River and Mother Love Bone with Stone Gossard; after the death of singer Andrew Wood, the two joined Mike McCready and Eddie Vedder to form Pearl Jam.

The debut album Ten brought the band to a wide audience. Ament also recorded solo work and was part of Temple of the Dog.
