Jarvis Cocker

Jarvis Cocker was born in Sheffield and formed Pulp as a teenager, in 1978. The band took years to break through with His ’n’ Hers and Different Class, which brought the hit “Common People”. Then came This Is Hardcore and We Love Life, before the group went on hiatus in 2002. Cocker released the solo albums Jarvis and Further Complications and returned to the stage with Pulp in 2011.
