Jan Petryka

Jan Petryka was born in Warsaw, Poland, and grew up in Austria. Before devoting himself to singing, he studied cello at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz and at the University of Music in Graz.

He graduated with distinction in voice, Lied and oratorio in Vienna. The tenor performs opera, oratorio and sacred music repertoire, appearing often in Baroque music projects alongside ensembles such as Bach Consort Wien, L’Orfeo Barockorchester and Concerto Stella Matutina.
