Iggy and The Stooges

Formed in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1967, the group released The Stooges (1969) and Fun House (1970), albums that paved the way for punk. After breaking up in the early 1970s, Iggy Pop brought part of the lineup back together with guitarist James Williamson to record Raw Power, from 1973, with David Bowie on the mix. The band reunited in 2003 and ended after Scott Asheton’s death in 2014.
