Goldfrapp

Goldfrapp formed in London in 1999 with singer Alison Goldfrapp and composer Will Gregory. The duo debuted with Felt Mountain in 2000 and moved from the cinematic electronics of Black Cherry and Supernature to the folk and psychedelia of Seventh Tree.

Head First returned to synthpop, while Tales of Us took a more intimate path. The seventh album, Silver Eye, came out in 2017; since 2022, the group has been on indefinite hiatus.
