Gojira

Gojira formed in Ondres, in southwestern France, in 1996, still under the name Godzilla. The band adopted its current name in 2001, when it released Terra Incognita. From Mars to Sirius, released in 2005, broadened its international reach; The Way of All Flesh and L’Enfant Sauvage continued that trajectory. With Magma, released in 2016, and Fortitude, released in 2021, the group continued exploring personal and environmental themes within extreme metal.
