God Is an Astronaut

God Is an Astronaut emerged in 2002 in Glen of the Downs, County Wicklow, Ireland, formed by twin brothers Niels and Torsten Kinsella. The band released its debut album, The End of the Beginning, that same year, and rose to prominence with All Is Violent, All Is Bright, from 2005.

It kept releasing albums, among them Age of the Fifth Sun and Embers, staying on a path rooted in instrumental post-rock.
