Gaël Faye

Gaël Faye was born in Bujumbura, Burundi, and arrived in France at 13, after the Burundian civil war. Before his solo career, he was part of the rap duo Milk Coffee & Sugar, which released an album in 2010.

In 2013, he debuted with Pili-Pili sur un croissant au beurre, followed by projects such as Rythmes et Botanique. Lundi méchant, from 2020, and Mauve Jacaranda, from 2022, continued his solo work.
