Fountains of Wayne

Fountains of Wayne emerged in New York in 1996, led by Chris Collingwood and Adam Schlesinger. The debut album featured “Radiation Vibe”, and Utopia Parkway established the band in the late 1990s.

In 2003, Welcome Interstate Managers took the group to a larger audience with “Stacy’s Mom”. After releasing Sky Full of Holes in 2011, the band ended its activities in 2013. In 2020, it performed again in tribute to Schlesinger.
