Evergrey

Evergrey turned Gothenburg into a moral basement: progressive metal less interested in dazzling virtuosity than in guilt, faith, paranoia, and losses that never fade. Tom S. Englund leads the band like someone holding a dim lamp in a long hallway. Through dark concepts, lineup changes, and returns, the group refined a rare signature: emotional weight, Nordic melody, and adult drama without heroic gloss.

Why listen to Evergrey?

Every riff seems to carry a confession no one had the courage to say out loud.
