Donovan

Donovan was born in Maryhill, Glasgow, and began his career in the British folk scene in the early 1960s. The album Fairytale and singles such as “Catch the Wind” paved the way for a psychedelic pop phase marked by Sunshine Superman, Mellow Yellow and Hurdy Gurdy Man.

In the 1990s, he returned to recording with Sutras, produced by Rick Rubin. His work also includes children's songs and acoustic records, as well as compositions tied to meditation.
