Donald Kinsey

Born in Gary, Indiana, Donald Kinsey began playing at a young age with his father, bluesman Big Daddy Kinsey, and his brothers. After joining Albert King’s band, he moved toward reggae and played with Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, including Tosh’s band Word Sound and Power. In 1984, he returned to Gary and formed the Kinsey Report with his brothers, a group that pursued its path between blues and reggae.
