Destiny's Child

The group emerged in Houston, Texas, in the early 1990s, first as Girls’ Tyme, and took the name Destiny’s Child before releasing its debut album in 1998. The Writing’s on the Wall, from 1999, featured “Bills, Bills, Bills” and “Say My Name” and consolidated the lineup of Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

Survivor, from 2001, marked a new phase, followed by the final album Destiny Fulfilled and a farewell tour in 2005. The members have reunited for special performances.
