Del McCoury Band

The Del McCoury Band’s story began with Del McCoury and the Dixie Pals, a group formed in 1967, after the musician had passed through Bill Monroe’s Bluegrass Boys. The lineup that took the name Del McCoury Band came together in the late 1980s, with his sons Ronnie and Rob among its members.

Cold Hard Facts, from 1996, widened its reach and received a Grammy nomination. The band kept recording and performing on the bluegrass circuit.
