Cor del Gran Teatre del Liceu

The Cor del Gran Teatre del Liceu was formed together with Barcelona's opera house in 1847. Since then, it has taken part in the Spanish premieres of much of the operatic repertoire, from the Baroque to contemporary music.

Its work includes Italian opera and the Liceu's own productions. The choir's vocal tradition was consolidated by conductor Romano Gandolfi and continued by directors such as Vittorio Sicuri, Conxita Garcia and Pablo Assante.
