Catherine Ringer

Born in Paris, Catherine Ringer began her music career alongside Fred Chichin, with whom she formed the duo Les Rita Mitsouko in 1979. The group rose to prominence with the album The No Comprendo and the song “Marcia Baïla”, and released seven studio albums until Chichin’s death in 2007.

Ringer went solo, with Ring’n Roll (2011) and Chroniques & Fantaisies (2017), and returned to performing the Rita Mitsouko repertoire on tour.
