Buddy Guy

Buddy Guy was born in Lettsworth, Louisiana, and moved to Chicago in 1957. He recorded for Chess Records and worked as a session musician for Muddy Waters and other blues names. After years with little exposure, he returned to the spotlight with Damn Right, I've Got the Blues, from 1991. He kept recording, including The Blues Is Alive and Well and The Blues Don't Lie.
