Bruno Pelletier was born in Charlesbourg, on the outskirts of Quebec City, and went through rock bands before starting his solo career. His first album came out in 1992; Miserere, from 1997, marked his breakthrough in Quebec.
At the end of the decade, he played Gringoire in Notre-Dame de Paris, taking “Le temps des cathédrales” to French-speaking audiences in several countries. He then alternated solo albums, orchestral projects and work in musicals; in 2020 he released Sous influences.
