Billy Corgan

Billy Corgan is the brain behind the Smashing Pumpkins, the band he founded in Chicago in 1988 and took through 1990s alternative rock on records like Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. Outside it, he passed through Zwan and recorded solo albums such as TheFutureEmbrace and Ogilala, the latter just voice and acoustic guitar, stripped of the layers of guitar that made his name.
