Behemoth

Behemoth was born in the underground of Polish black metal and, under Nergal’s command, turned stylistic transformation into method. The early records carry the genre’s pagan harshness; the shift to death metal expanded weight, technique and scale. From Demigod and Evangelion on, the group made its music increasingly monumental, while The Satanist consolidated a language in which blasphemy, theatricality and composition work as parts of the same aesthetic project.
