Bebel Gilberto

Born in New York, the daughter of João Gilberto and Miúcha, Bebel Gilberto began singing as a child and released her first solo record in 1986. After living in New York and London, she gained international recognition with Tanto Tempo in 2000, combining Brazilian repertoire with electronic production.

Bebel Gilberto, released in 2004, took that path further. After Tudo, released in 2014, she returned to studio albums with Agora in 2020 and devoted João, released in 2023, to her father's repertoire.
